Scott Weaver Named Executive Chef at Chick-a-Biddy

Executive Chef Scott Weaver will join Chick-a-Biddy, sister restaurant of Bantam + Biddy, as Executive Chef.  Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere of fast-casual chicken restaurant, Bantam + Biddy, are set to open Chick-a-Biddy in April.

Weaver, who has 12 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, will bring a menu of farm fresh chicken and sides to Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta. Weaver began his first restaurant job as a line cook at The Hideaway in Milledgeville, Ga., working his way up to head line cook, where he assisted with ordering and training and oversaw kitchen organization. In 2004, Weaver moved to Atlanta and began working at Marlow’s Tavern, where he ran the kitchen in various locations and opened new restaurants in the Atlanta area. He was responsible for developing special menus, planning events and training management as well as servers and cooks. He was most recently chef de cuisine at the Marlow’s Tavern East Cobb location.
