Gladys Knight’s Signature Chicken & Waffles will open a third location in late August. Established in 1997, Singer-songwriter Gladys Knight and her son Shanga Hankerson developed the unique concept and currently own two restaurant locations in Downtown Atlanta and Lithonia at Stonecrest. The third installment of the chicken-and-waffles concept will be located in the southwest Atlanta’s Cascade neighborhood.
The Southern cuisine-oriented menu includes “Opening Acts” (Fried Green Tomatoes, Collard Green Spring Rolls, Asian Glazed Shrimp), “Headliners” (Midnight Train, Shrimp and Grits, Salmon Croquettes), “Grammy Winners” (Herb Buttered Steak, Brown Sugar Salmon, Veggie Soul) and more.
Late night dining will also be available, as the restaurant will open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
