The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) has awarded Bold American Events, an Atlanta catering and design company, with the management contract of its rooftop event space, J.B. Fuqua Rooftop Pavilion.
In its new role, Bold American Events will manage all bookings at the J.B. Fuqua Rooftop Pavilion for social, private and corporate events, market the space for new business and provide all beverage and beverage-related services in addition to preferred catering services. Bold American Events will also work hand-in-hand with the venue’s list of other approved caterers.
The J.B. Fuqua Rooftop Pavilion boasts 3,500 square-feet of event space and can accommodate up to 300 guests. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the rooftop lends itself to expansive views of the city’s skyline and its open floor plan allows for various event set-ups from banquets to theater-style seating.
Since 1996, the Rooftop Pavilion has hosted thousands of signature events such as live broadcasts from national media outlets, awards programs, receptions, a press conference for the BET Hip Hop Awards, special events, engagements, weddings and more. In the last 19 years, many notable figures, elected officials, foreign dignitaries and famous athletes and celebrities have graced the rooftop during these events. The space was especially prominent during the Centennial Olympic Games, serving as the venue for worldwide media outlets and a gathering place for professional and Olympic Athletes.
