
Here To Serve Restaurant Group recently announced the promotions of Phil Handley to Director of Operations and Mark Pinsky to Regional Director. The two veteran managers assumed their new leadership roles in early 2015 under the direction of Leigh Catherall, owner and CEO of Here to Serve Restaurants.

As Director of Operations, Phil Handley oversees all aspects of operating Here to Serve’s twelve restaurants throughout the Atlanta area. His focus includes marketing, day-to-day store operations, facility oversight, infrastructure management and training and development for all levels of employees. In his new role as Regional Director, Mark Pinsky assists in the general operations of the group. His responsibilities include management training and development, menu oversight, leadership of the sales team, and improvement of service standards across the portfolio.

Phil Handley has served in management roles with Here To Serve Restaurants for 13 years. Before stepping into his role as Director of Operations, Phil oversaw the beverage and wine programs for Goldfish, Twist and Strip prior to a stint as General Manager of Strip. He began his food and beverage career as a caterer at a Change of Command at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida. His career spans nearly 30 years and ranges from waiting tables in theme dining to cooking haute cuisine at L’Espalier in Boston to front-of-house management in various Atlanta restaurants.
Atlanta-native Mark Pinsky, a Culinary Arts graduate of Johnson & Wales University, spent his early career cooking in 4-star and AAA 4-diamond kitchens before moving into front-of-house restaurant management. Mark has been with Here To Serve since fall of 2003, opening two concepts and managing service and beverage programs at Prime and Goldfish before a seven year stretch as the general manager at Prime at Lenox Mall.
