Here to Serve restaurants recently announced that it will not renew Goldfish’s lease with Perimeter Mall. After 15 years in business, Goldfish will close its doors on May 31, 2015, following a month-long farewell celebration. Patrons are invited to bid adieu to the seafood-centric dining spot while taking advantage of special discount days, live music and events, and supporting a fundraiser benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
“We at Here to Serve are proud of Goldfish’s success over the last 15 years and its excellent reputation in the Dunwoody community,” said Leigh Catherall, CEO, Here to Serve Restaurants. “Our decision to forgo lease renewal was made after careful consideration, and ultimately, we felt this decision will allow us to pursue other opportunities and new ventures.”
“Goldfish has always been a favorite in the area, and we wanted to go out with a bang. Our celebration throughout the month of May gives us a chance to show our loyal patrons how much we appreciate their business over the years,” said Phil Handley, Director of Operations, Here to Serve.
Farewell Promotion Specials include:
- 15% off all food items on Sundays and Mondays
- “Throw Back” Tuesday – Half-price fish and steaks each Tuesday
- Live music on Thursday and Friday
- Appearances by well-loved corporate Sushi Chef Jimmy Meas on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Seafood boils on select Sundays
Goldfish, along with the 12 other Here to Serve restaurants, will be offering a special Mother’s Day gift card promotion called Moms Love May. From May 1-10, customers can purchase gift cards for use in all of its restaurants in $50 increments and receive a bonus card for 30% of the amount, e.g. purchase a $100 gift card and receive a $30 bonus card.
In addition, Goldfish will donate a portion of its sales during May to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Scottish Rite Hospital is located in the Perimeter Mall area, near Goldfish.
