Miso Ko Opens at Ponce City Market’s Central Food Hall

Miso KoMiso Ko, a ten-seat sushi counter from local restaurateur and chef Guy Wong opened September 8 inside Atlanta’s Ponce City Market. Featuring grab-and-go offerings and seated dining at high-back barstools, Miso Ko serves made-to-order sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, makimono, specialty rolls, and more.

Guy Wong also owns Ton Ton at Ponce City Market and Le Fat on Atlanta’s Westside.

Miso Ko adjoins its sister establishment Ton Ton on the first floor of the Central Food Hall, across from Biltong Bar on the northern Ponce de Leon Ave entrance. Using authentic materials such as distressed wood and stucco, the sushi counter functions as an addition to the existing restaurant while adding its own personality, featuring multi-colored fish-scale tiles, unique lighting, and playful signage. New, modern bar seating allows for guests to get an up-front view of sushi as it’s made to order, while also offering an extensive grab-and-go program.

There will be specials in addition to menu staples, and offerings will showcase fresh ingredients including fresh-water eel, octopus, squid, tuna, salmon, shrimp, sweet tofu, soft-shell crab, and more. Miso Ko serves specialty rolls, salads, large and small sushi combos, and add-ons like masago and quail egg.
