Gypsy Kitchen Begins Serving Brunch

Gypsy KitchenGypsy Kitchen’s new brunch means customers can now find a culinary adventure without leaving Buckhead. Known for featuring the rich, widely diverse tastes of Spain with a hint of Moroccan and Indian influence, the Buckhead restaurant now offers this alluring culinary tour every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Executive chef Gary Finzer believes the Paella on the Patio is going to become a brunch favorite, particularly with the unbeatable combination of Atlanta’s perfect fall weather and Gypsy Kitchen’s spacious rooftop patio. Finzer says, “While I love making traditional renditions of paella, I’m planning to shake things up a little each week to keep it fresh for our regulars.”

Another traditional favorite, the bloody Mary bar ($10), will allow guests to craft their own bloody Marys from a huge assortment of delicacies with accouterments such as bacon, hearts of palm, wasabi-stuffed olives, blue cheese-stuffed olives, pickled cauliflower and pork rinds. Additionally, aficionados have ample opportunity to turn up the heat with a selection of over 30 artisan hot sauces, ranging from mild, such as Historic Lynchburg Tennessee Whiskey Worcester FIRE sauce, to extreme heat, seen in selections such as the Fear Hot Sauce with Bhut Jolokia Pepper, and cajohn’s Hydra 7-Pot Primo Hot Sauce.

In the kitchen, Finzer and his crew created a sweet-to-savory menu that includes:

• Candied spicy chorizo Belgian waffle with dulce de leche syrup
• Gypsy Kitchen migas with chicken sausage, country bread, sunny side egg, piquillo charon sauce
• Steak and eggs with skirt steak, sunny side egg, salsa vizcaina, olive oil potatoes
• Huevos estrellados with pimenton egg, Manchego, matchstick potatoes, tomato
• Blue crab croquettas with saffron aioli
• Country chorizo tacos with scrambled eggs, salsa verde
