STHRN Hospitality Co. has announced a new partnership with Midtown Bowl. STHRN, which operates numerous metro Atlanta area hospitality establishments, including Westside Motor Lounge, The Bell Stand, Uno Mas Cantina + Taqueria, Little Gem, Pizza Stop, Echo Room and Perch, will refresh and renovate Midtown Bowl as part of its new operating partnership with the Atlanta institution.
Opening in 1960, Midtown Bowl has withstood the ever-changing landscape of Atlanta’s entertainment offerings and tastes, with its consistent decor, sense of community, and food and beverage offerings. Looking to attract new patrons and entice regulars to return to “the alley,” Midtown Bowl has undertaken its brand refresh to bring a fresh approach to events and programming, introduce an enhanced bar and cocktail program, a new food menu, upgraded sound system throughout and a more personalized experience, all while maintaining its vintage soul. The community feel, with its bowling leagues, lanes for all ages and skill levels, and parties with family and friends, will still be at the core of this classic Atlanta bowling alley.
“STHRN is proud to contribute to the Midtown Bowl story and be a part of welcoming families, friends, and coworkers to celebrate, compete, and connect,” says STHRN Hospitality Co. Co-Founder Kelly Campbell. “We’re honored to help carry the legacy forward, while keeping the soul of this Atlanta institution alive.”
In addition to Midtown Bowl’s enhanced offerings, STHRN is using the refresh as an opportunity to focus on a kitchen and bar renovation, with a new menu and offerings planned to launch by the end of 2025. The bar will expand from its existing size to add three total cocktail wells and an expanded bar menu, with a roving cocktail cart to bring drinks to patrons lane-side. The 11th Frame private event space and lounge is also set to reopen at the end of 2025 with an expanded bar and new direct access to the bowling alley, making it the perfect place to host private events.
Midtown Bowl is open throughout the brand refresh and renovations, with completion expected before the end of the year.
