This spring, a new restaurant called {S}table will open within Funwoody, the mixed-use development at Dunwoody Village on Dunwoody Village Parkway. Slated to open in early spring, the concept will serve Southern comfort favorites with a lighter touch, alongside regional spirits and an all-American wine list. The restaurant was developed by restaurateur David Abes, founder of Funwoody Restaurants and DASH Hospitality Group.
“The team and I are incredibly excited to welcome {S}table to the Funwoody family,” said Abes. “The concept is rooted in Southern style—familiar, approachable, and designed to resonate with the neighborhood. We wanted to create a place that feels comforting, ingredient-driven, and offers the warmest of hospitality.”
Funwoody Restaurants Culinary Director Camron Woods drew on his Southern roots to create a collection of dishes that highlight Southern staples. Menu items will include starters like the Southern Lazy Susan, featuring pimento cheese, Georgia gouda, smoked duck, country ham, benne seed crackers and entrees like Buttermilk Fried Springer Mountain Chicken with smashed potatoes and gravy. The menu will also highlight a daily rotating Meat & Two such as fried catfish, meatloaf, pot roast and fresh seasonal vegetables.
{S}table’s bar program leans into Southeastern producers and will feature signature drinks like a Sorghum Old Fashioned and the George Gold—a mint julep served over crushed ice with house-made bitters.
{S}table’s outdoor patio will channel the charm of a classic horse barn and will be a covered and heated space accented by over-sized chandeliers and stable-inspired design elements. Complete with an outdoor bar, horseshoes, and plenty of room to gather, the patio is designed for relaxed, year-round dining and socializing.
{S}table will join a variety of other dining options at Funwoody, including Bar{n} Booze {n} Bites, Morty’s Meat Supply, Message In a Bottle and Good Vibes Ice Cream Shop.
