New from owners Felipe Rivera and Eduardo Rivera and the team behind Palo Santo, Botánico Cocina & Social Club is a contemporary Latin restaurant and social club opening late-summer in Midtown Atlanta.
Moving into the former Lure space on Crescent Avenue, the concept aims to be a sensory destination that uses food, music, design and ambiance to transport guests to Latin America’s sun-soaked coasts, with a bohemian spirit and vibrant energy. The interior design will be defined by lush vegetation, organic textures, warm, intimate lighting and indoor-outdoor fluidity.
Designed as a progressive experience that feels like a global dinner party, Botánico will offer cuisine by Executive Chef Juan Guillermo Hormiga that highlights bold flavors through sharable plates and seasonal ingredients. Highlights will include Sea Bass Ceviche with mango and shrimp marinated with guajillo leche de Tigre.
The beverage program will offer festive pairings focused on Latin American expressions, such as tequila and mezcal cocktails and wines from Argentina, Chile and Spain. Music programming will include live DJs, patio parties and a lounge space with bottle service for celebratory evenings.
The opening is currently targeted for August.
