Consumers are drinking differently than in years past, choosing among beer, cocktails and alcohol-free options based on the occasion. A new craft beverage portfolio has emerged from Atlanta to cover all the bases Under the Monday Night Ventures umbrella.
A new partnership with Atlanta-based 18.21 Bitters builds on Monday Night Brewing’s existing spirits and ready-to-drink beverages business, Sneaky Pete Spirits Co. Together, the businesses grow the Monday Night Ventures portfolio, sharing production resources, operational support and commercial capabilities while maintaining their distinct brands and expertise.
“The beverage landscape is changing, and we see an opportunity to build on what we’ve learned as a craft brewery,” says Monday Night Brewing Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Joel Iverson. “We’ve learned how to make exceptional products, create welcoming places and deepen relationships. Through Monday Night Ventures, we’re combining that experience with the expertise of other craft beverage businesses to help each other grow. Beer remains core to who we are, and this gives us more ways to serve people with the same commitment to quality and connection.”
Partnerships Built to Help Craft Scale
Founded during Atlanta’s 2014 “Snowpocalypse,” 18.21 grew from kitchen experiments and a successful Kickstarter into an acclaimed line of bitters, syrups, shrubs, tonics and other cocktail ingredients. Its original Ponce City Market shop became known for tastings, cocktail education, and an experience that helped make craft cocktails more approachable.Founder Kristin Wingfield remains the company’s majority owner and continues to lead the business and develop its products. 18.21 remains Black- and woman-owned. Monday Night is providing the shared production resources, infrastructure and operational support to help the brand grow while preserving its recipes and commitment to fresh, natural ingredients.
The partnership brings 18.21’s production and fulfillment to Monday Night’s Garage location in the Historic West End of Atlanta. The brand is also relaunching its canned line with updated packaging and a reformulation that utilizes an all-natural mushroom-based preservative.
Plans also call for a new 18.21 retail space at Monday Night Garage that builds on the legacy of its original Ponce City Market shop. Consumers, distributors, restaurant partners and bartenders will have a place to discover, learn about and experience the full 18.21 portfolio.
The partnership also expands Monday Night’s ability to craft alcohol-free beverage options. Wingfield has long advocated for non-alcoholic drinks with the same depth, presentation and sense of occasion as cocktails. All 18.21 products — including bitters, syrups, and shrubs — are designed for use in cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and cooking.
Founded by Peter and Rachel Kiley, Sneaky Pete Spirits Co. is already an established part of the Monday Night business and continues to grow within the Monday Night Ventures portfolio. Its brands include Pedro Furtivo additive-free tequila and Yacht Water, an additive free reposado tequila seltzer.
At the heart of Pedro Furtivo is a commitment to authentic tequila craftsmanship. It is produced and bottled in Mexico in partnership with Omar Martinez, a third-generation agave farmer, whose agricultural knowledge and experience with agave cultivation help shape the award-winning brand.
Leadership for the Next Chapter
Further supporting that strategy is a leadership structure giving dedicated focus to long-term vision, operations, product innovation and commercial growth. Joel Iverson serves as chief executive officer; Clint Wood as president and chief operating officer; Peter Kiley as brewmaster and chief product officer; and Kathy Bradham as chief brand and commercial strategy officer.
Iverson will guide the organization’s long-term vision, culture and growth strategy. Wood will lead day-to-day operations and the company’s hospitality business, including its growing network of taprooms across the Southeast. Kiley will oversee product quality and innovation across the expanding beverage portfolio while continuing his leadership of Sneaky Pete Spirits Co. Bradham will lead brand and commercial strategy, overseeing marketing, the wholesale business and market expansion with a focus on connecting the portfolio’s brands with consumers and customers, expanding into new markets, and driving growth across channels.
The structure also preserves dedicated leadership within the businesses that make up the broader portfolio. Kristin Wingfield will continue to lead 18.21 Bitters as president and majority owner. Rachel Kiley will continue to lead Sneaky Pete Spirits Co. as president, alongside co-founder Peter Kiley.
Beer Craftsmanship Remains the Foundation
Even as Monday Night applies its capabilities to cocktails, spirits, ready-to-drink beverages, and other formats, its craft beer program remains central to the business. The brewery recently earned four medals at the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship:
- GOLD — Madrigal: Barrel Aged Sour Beer
- GOLD — 7 Deadly Stouts: Blended Barrel Aged Beer
- BRONZE — Tie XIV: Barrel-Aged Strong Stout/Porter-Extreme
- BRONZE — Many Leather Bound Books: Aged
Monday Night operates taprooms across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina. Over the next three to five years, the company plans to expand its presence across the Southeast while continuing to invest in production capabilities, hospitality experiences, and partnerships that can help distinctive craft brands grow.
