Les Dames d’ Escoffier International Atlanta Chapter (LDEI-Atlanta) will host its first annual Day With The Dames Event at Life University located at 1269 Barclay Cir, Marietta, GA on March 27, 2024.
Day With The Dames is a career exposition designed to inspire young women interested in hospitality careers. This 1-day event begins at 10:00 a.m. EST and ends at 1:00 p.m. EST.
The objective is to connect LDEI hospitality professionals with aspiring young women who will become tomorrow’s hospitality industry leaders. The focuses are networking and mentorship by which Dames are able to inform, motivate and empower future businesswomen and culinarians.
The Program Includes 2 Sessions:
I. Lunch and Learn – Leadership Panel 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. EST
This panel will feature distinguished guests from LDEI who will share their stories and provide insight to successfully navigate a career path as a woman in the hospitality industry.
II. Hospitality Career Exploration Showcase – Day with the Dames Passport 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. EST
Dames will set up information tables showcasing their businesses in an open expo. Students will visit table to table to collect key information about each business. Students will be provided with a ‘passport’ that must be stamped by every station to indicate their visit. Once completed, students can redeem their passports for a gift bag featuring product samples and merch from each vendor.
