Restaurateur and venture capitalist Shane Corrodus is serious about the vision of his new restaurant, Elevation Kitchen & Cocktails, located in Conyers on Stigman Rd. The name was chosen to accompany the vibe of the venue, accentuated by art, a chef’s menu, well-appointd patio and a member’s cigar lounge. Corrodus hopes to inspire many business deals in the space by offering an elevated dining experience.
Inspired by Corrodus’s Jamaican roots, which he hoped to fuse with an Atlanta sensibility, Elevation Kitchen & Cocktails boasts a menu with items such as seared jerk lamb chops, chicken & waffles, escovitch snapper (a Jamaican classic), steak and cheese eggrolls and a steakhouse meat menu. Smash burgers, pizza and pasta are also on the menu.
“This is not just about opening a restaurant, it’s about legacy,” Corrodus said. “We are building to expand, and to do that, you need to function at a high level, have great customer service, and bring the right network of people in the same space.”
The restaurant will offer brunch every day from noon to 4 p.m., “Wine Down Wednesdays” featuring live music and poetry, Ladies Night on Thursdays and football of Sundays during football season. Elevation will be introducing Winning Wednesday Poker and Spades tournaments for cigar club members, with no cash betting.
The restaurant hopes to solidify its presence in Conyers and also attract customers from across the Atlanta metro area.
