This spring, Chef Anne Quatrano will debut Summerland, her new fine-casual daytime restaurant located in Atlanta’s forthcoming Upper West Market — a vibrant indoor farmer’s market created to bring regional farmers and producers into the heart of the city. Named after Quatrano’s fifth-generation, 60-acre family farm in Cartersville, Summerland will reflect her deep-rooted commitment to seasonality, sustainability and working with locally harvested ingredients.
The restaurant will feature daily baked goods and savory takeaway items, a coffee counter, a light-filled dining room and an al fresco patio. The dining menu will offer composed dishes with a focus on fresh, flavorful bowls. Dishes like baked cottage cheese with eggs and a fine-herb salad with sourdough croutons; Carolina Gold rice porridge with roasted leeks, burnt onion salt, crispy rice, and soft egg; chicken schnitzel with boiled peanuts, pickled coriander seed, arugula, and lemon; and pistachio and honey croissants will grace the seasonal menu. Summerland will be open daily from 8am-4pm.
