Srinivasa Nimmagadda’s Sankranti Indian Kitchen will open its third fast-casual Indian restaurant in Atlanta near Georgia Tech in West Midtown. Nimmagadda opened the first location of Sankranti Indian Kitchen in Dunwoody in 2022 followed by a second location near Emory University in April 2023.
Sankranti’s menu highlights regional cuisines of Southern and Northern India, featuring fresh varieties of curry bowls, karma rolls, veggies samosas, chicken biryani, salads and desserts. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are the primary focus, but chicken can be added to any plate.
The 1,500-square-foot Georgia Tech restaurant will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, an open kitchen and counter for ordering and indoor seating for 20 guests with additional seating on two outdoor patios. The new location is slated to open in September 2023.
