The restaurant industry has long been a place where hard work, passion, and perseverance can open doors to opportunity. Time and again, we’ve seen people begin their journey at the entry level and grow into leaders who make a lasting impact on the industry.
In recent years, the hospitality world has also evolved into a more inclusive and people-focused environment — one that values not only the guest experience, but also the well-being and growth of the people behind the scenes. This year’s Rising Stars embody that spirit.
The Rising Stars program honors the unsung heroes working in restaurants across Georgia — individuals who consistently go beyond the expectations of their roles. They inspire creativity, encourage innovation, and help cultivate positive workplace cultures within their teams and communities. Whether they’re leading in the kitchen, supporting operations on the floor or elevating the beverage program to new levels, they are helping shape the future of hospitality.
Each year, members of Georgia’s restaurant and hospitality industry are invited to nominate individuals they believe deserve recognition as a Rising Star.
Since the program launched in 2017, more than 50 outstanding professionals have been recognized for the impact they’re making in the restaurant community. And every year, narrowing down the list becomes even more challenging because of the many deserving nominees.
This year’s Rising Stars represent how young people unwittingly start their careers in hospitality and quickly find a home where they can grow, build their skills, rise up the ranks and flourish. From starting at a position at the host stand or at the dishwasher, these individuals demonstrate that the industry offers endless opportunities for growth and success.
